Rumors circulating at present stemming from a week-old information launch recommend Japanese leisure conglomerate Konami has shut down its video gaming division. Konami assures us it has not.
In a news release dated January 15 the Japanese firm introduced the dissolution of its three manufacturing divisions, together with employees strikes for workers beforehand in control of manufacturing departments. What’s occurring in that announcement, in line with an official assertion given to Kotaku by Konami, is only a consolidation of departments.
The assertion reads “The announcement made refers to an inner restructure, with Manufacturing Divisions being consolidated. We’ve not shut down our video gaming division.”
So no worries, Konami will proceed to make that PES soccer sport and no matter else it does lately. Yu-Gi-Oh and such.
